TESTIMONY Night

To say that We were BLESSED in 2011 is a huge understatement.

1.  2011 brought a lot of FIRSTs in our family.

• FIRST Wedding Aniversary
• Caleb's FIRST Birthday
• And our FIRST Place finish in this year's Pinoy Expats/OFW Blog Awards (PEBA) - OFW Blogger Division.

2.  Who says that there is an ongoing downturn in global economies?  We don't know and we refuse to believe.  Because in 2011, we received salary increment --- TWICE!

3.  Have you ever tried getting someone from the Philippines on a visit or tourist visa without any job offer?  If you do, then you know how painstakingly difficult it is.  We've done it THREE-times though, with THREE-weeks gap in between.  Now our siblings, Rachel, Rose and Arleen are certified Abu Dhabi yuppies and an addition to the growing Every Nation family.

4.  From FOUR sticks per day to zero.  From Day 1 to Day 36.  Everyday is indeed a struggle.  But on the other hand, everyday is now a Cigarette-FREE-Day for me.  And FYI, my wife is loving my new SMOKELESS scent.  Truly, we can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us.

5.  So for ALL that YOU have done LORD, a BIG high-FIVE to YOU!

A MORE BLESSED 2012 to EVERYBODY!!

YOSI Break

Eksena sa bahay nung ika-18th birthday ko.

ME:  Ma may sasabihin ako sa yo.  (Lub-dub, Lub-dub.)

MA:  Ano yon?

ME:  Alam mo Ma si Alfred nagyoyosi na.  Si Jason nagyoyosi na rin.  (Sila yung mga close friends ko na kilala sa bahay.)

MA:  E ikaw?

ME:  Nagyoyosi na rin! (Medyo alert mode baka mabigwasan.)

MA:  Well, choice mo yan.  Just be responsible.

ME:  (Buntong-hininga with matching malaking YES!)  I will Ma!

Kaya yon, ligal akong magyosi sa bahay simula pa nung 18 yrs old ako.  Mas minabuti kong magpaalam ng maayos kasi ayoko ng patago-tago.  Dyahe kasi yung nagyoyosi ka na nga tapos magsisinungaling ka pa.  Doble kasalanan hehe.

Ngayon, habang ginagawa ko tong blog ko, kinom-pute ko kung gano na ba karaming yosi ang nahithit ko sa buong buhay ko:

Age: 19  25  33 years old

Total No. of Yosi Years Since Legalization:  33-18 = 15 years

Total No. of Days in a Year:  365.25 days   
Average No. of Yosi per Day:  4 sticks
Total No. of Yosi Consumption Since Birth:  21, 915 sticks, wapak!

Imagine, 21915 piraso ng yosi na pala ang nahithit-buga ko sa bunganga ko.  E estimate lang yan.  Syempre may mga times na mas adik ka sa yosi lalo na pag malamig o kaya pagkatapos ng masarap na kain o kaya dyumijerbaks o kaya umiinom o kaya e bored ka lang. 

Kaya sobrang happy ko lang na nasa ika-7 na araw na kong YOSI-FREE, woot!

Sobrang natutuwa lang ako na tuloy-tuloy pa rin ang YOSI-FREE Project ko.  Feeling ko lang, sobrang bango ko lang lately, hihi, at nadagdagan ng million years ang pwede ko pang i-stay sa mundo.
