WAVE Lesson

Magmamasid.  Magpapatianod.  Pilit tatayo sa bawat parating na alon.  Babalanse.

Pumi-freedom.

1.  LA UNION - sumama ko dito sa Travel Factor as a solo traveler.  2nd time kong magtravel with total strangers.  Una ko nung sa El Nido.

Tutorial

Grabbed from Master Jolan

2.  ZAMBALES - solo traveler pa din with Travel Factor.  Side trip to ng Anawangin/Capones trip.  Malapit kaya dito yung Scarborough Shoal?

Iba ang pride dahil lumi-level na tayo sa US, Italy, France, Spain, India, Germany, Russia, Netherlands at Morocco; which were all previous locations of the trilogy.

Atlis makikita nilang we are not-so-provincial-and-barriotic after all.  Yun kasi perception nila sa Pinas.  Kala nila sobrang hirap natin.  Kala nila sobrang left behind.  Di nila alam sobrang ahead nga natin.  Been there.  Done that.  Kaya lang, nag-stagnate.

Tapos nung nalaman kong mag-e-EL NIDO rin sila, napa-yeba ulit ako!  Anganda kaya sa EL NIDO!  Tapos makikita sa BUONG mundo?  PANALO!

Under rated lang.  Saka mahirap lang marating dahil 5-6 hours ang land travel from Puerto Princesa.  At medyo baku-bako ang daan.  Pero wag ka.  Once andon ka na, sulit naman talaga.

Babala:  CAM WHORE Ahead.

I simply HEART Palawan.

Having been in Puerto Princesa and El Nido, Palawan already established herself to me as the BESTest travel destination ever.  Not only because of its affluence in terms of natural wonders  but also because of its people.

Ambabait nilang lahat.

Na kahit nakaiwan ka ng singsing na may 12 dyamante e mababalik yon sa yo (hehe di ako masyadong sure dito but that is how I trust them).

First time ko yon.

Yung tipong konting kibot mo lang e nakalahad na agad ang palad at nag-aantay ng kaperahang galing syo at pinapamukha sa yong nothing is for free in this world anymore!

Wala namang masama don.
At syempre, mas maluwag magtip, kung you know that they gave you a very good service.

Kaya balik tayo kay Kuyang Driver.

Nagkataon kasing Valentine's Day nung andon kme sa Palawan.  Kaya tinanong ko sya:

"Kuya san date nyo?"

* BUTTERFLY FARM *

* MITRA RANCH *

Sabi nila meron na raw Zipline dito ngayon!  The Baker's Hill is just a walk away from here where you could buy baked delicacies and much more.  Just don't know why we have not taken photos of Baker's Hill.

* IWAHIG PENAL FARM *

Natakot kami sa Mamang nagbukas ng van namin kaya napabili kme ng souvenirs from him ng wala sa oras.  Syempre inmate rin sya don.

* MANONG DRIVER *

The BIRD that Flew DHABI

Envelope courtesy of Tikoy. Paper courtesy of Tikoy?  or was it from Nonie?  Hmmm, sign of the times :)  Basta ang naaalala ko, I was so eager to write Aimee a letter to tell her how much fun I was having and I was so thinking of her in every islands, in every waters that we were exploring..  That I was so hoping that she was beside me that time..

Anyway,  while everybody went out exploring the pasalubong stores, I opted to stay to finish my writings.  And as an extra treat, I included the coconut leaf BIRD that Manong Banker gave us.

On our way back to Manila, I asked around for the post office.  I realized later that it was a Sunday so no chance at all of mailing it from Puerto Princesa.  A bit disappointed that my plan did not materialize, I just carried it back to Manila and mailed it from there.

After almost 2 months in transit,  Aimee finally received it --- with the Bird now all dried up :)

Seeing it again now brought back fond memories --- a piece of home, bundled with My LOVE.

For TRAVEL FACTOR --- I WILL!

I am not really a blogger...  because I am not good with words.  I would rather read someone else's blog, then share a piece of my thoughts, than create and re-read my own.

I am more of a poser (though the result may not be always satisfactory)...  sometimes a jester (if one single joke clicks then you're up for more)...  a motivator (i love seeing others triumph over their fears)...  a go-getter (hence, my battlecry: I refuse to just exist---i live)...  but it never occured to me that this day would come where I'd finally squeeze my balls, and spark some brain activities, to come up with something interesting and worth reading.

But I realized that I am not doing this to impress.  I am starting to blog to GIVE BACK.  This is going to be my simple gesture of thanking Him, thanking new found friends and acquaintances, appreciating my family more, and showing my gratitude to Life for all the experiences I gained.

Folks I may not be a blogger, but for Travel Factor --- I will!

I could still remember the time while I was watching Sports Unlimited (that was when I'm like 2 or 3 shades lighter and some few bucks richer; but awfully bored), I got enticed by two young ladies delivering a monologue about Travel Factor and travel and stuff about travel and all about PASSION ( Haha, Tix!)...

Though this is an extremely overused line, I'd like to abuse it some more --- and the rest they say is History!

Thank you Travel Factor for the merriment of experiencing some of the 7,107 ways of enjoying life!

...  for accommodating me in El Nido though there is only a day left!

...  for letting me partyyyyy (where people are more interested to pose than to dance, haha)!

...  for getting me STOKED and craving to be stoked again!

...  for letting me do what I dread most, like to Trek, and be happy that I did such.

...  for preparing me on my next trip through Pinatubo, in finding the very elusive lighthouse of Ca-pagod Island and later on be mesmerized by the Very PINE Beach and even later, to satisfy my yearning for STOKE!

...  and lastly, for letting me take care of others, more than my Life, to the point of bloodloss :D
